New Students
Welcome to Clinton Rosette Middle School (CRMS)! It can be both exciting and scary to start the adventure of attending a new school.
Some resources that can help your student and family adjust to life at CRMS are:
- School counselors: staff members who support students and help them succeed at CRMS
- WEB leaders: 8th graders who help welcome new students to CRMS
- Rosette Gazette: a document that leads you through a day at CRMS, including before and after school activities
Skyward
Syward is our school’s online information management system. It’s where you can find important information including grades and attendance.
Student Organizations and Activities
There are lots of different groups and activities for students to explore. Learn more about athletics and activities.
There’s even an activity bus that takes home students who normally ride the bus when they stay after school for a club meeting.
School Supplies and PE Uniforms
Your student will need certain supplies for the school year, depending on what grade they’re in. Learn more about school supplies.
Your student will wear an orange shirt and black shorts in their physical education (PE) class. They’ll change into their PE uniform in the locker room. PE uniforms are kept at school and should be brought home regularly to be washed. You can buy a uniform in the main office, or fill out a PE uniform order form.

You won’t want to miss our local festivals: DeKalb Corn Fest in early fall and Sycamore Pumpkin Festival in late October.
